Beverly Bonner, originally from Chesaning, Michigan, followed her show business dreams to New York City, many years ago.  During this time she has appeared in over 45 plays, most notable being featured with the late Divine in the long-running hit play “Women Behind Bars”.  Ms. Bonner’s most recent theatre appearance was the lead in Edward Miller’s 2008’s play, “Make it So” renowned at Theatre for the New City.

Many appearances in films include the 3rd lead in Frank Henenlotter’s, cult Horror Classic, BASKET CASE.  She was also featured in Mr. Henenlotter’s BASKET CASE II, BASKET CASE III, FRANKENHOOKER ‘90, and BRAIN DAMAGE”.

Television appearances include her half hour sketch comedy show, The Beverly Bonner Show which ran 5 years on Saturday nights at 8:30pm on Manhattan Neighborhood network and her TV show, Beverly Bonner’s Laugh Track which ran 7 years at 12:30pm on Sundays on Time Warner Cable.   This show also ran in Detroit, Michigan and in LA.  Produced, written, directed and starred in by Ms. Bonner, these shows will be re-introduced to audiences via the internet where Ms. Bonner plans to produce her latest TV show via a new innovative website.

A drop dead funny Stand up, Beverly has appeared at most of the Comedy Clubs in New York City and other cities.  She has produced her own comedy shows at DON’T TELL MAMA and Wings Theatre in New York City.  A former Motown employee, Beverly was thrilled to be invited to perform in front of more then 3,000 people at Motown’s 40th Anniversary.  In 2007 she formed a new sketch comedy group, BONNER’S BOOMERS, the comedy voice of the Baby Bonners.

Beverly also starred in her hilarious play “Manhattan Towers” which ran a year at DON’T TELL MAMA.  This play showed the humorous side of entertainers living in a New York high-rise.

Beverly is currently developing and will soon be seen on stage in a Male/Female comedy team, “Me and He”.
